Does the bookkeeping fee vary with annual revenue?
Updated 2026-09-19
Yes. Our bookkeeping fee is tiered by annual revenue bracket and filing method (expanded review / income filing, or audit / actual-basis filing). Higher revenue means more work, so the monthly fee adjusts accordingly; actual-basis filing requires more complete accounting and costs more than expanded review.
In practice:
- We bill at the base tier during the year.
- At each annual return, we evaluate free of charge whether expanded review or actual basis saves more tax and the risk involved; if actual basis is better, we confirm with you first and then charge the difference.
- If annual revenue exceeds the base tier, the difference is charged at the annual return based on actual revenue.
